Community notifications are now available for Gateway residents. Once enrolled, the District will send you alerts concerning time-sensitive and/or emergency information that may impact your area via phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media.

BOIL WATER ADVISORIES , ROAD CLOSURES/TRAFFIC ALERTS , WATER LINE REPAIRS, GENERAL NOTICES,  COMMUNITY WIDE EVENTS, OR CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES 

Gateway Services CDD encourage you to actively participate in case of an emergency and remain  informed with general notifications issued by Gateway Services. Safety is a two-way street, so be sure to register today to receive the information you need, when it matters most.

Residents who enroll for CodeRED will also receive notifications from Lee County Emergency Management Services &/or Lee County Sheriff’s Department. Gateway Services CDD does not monitor or have control over Lee County Emergency management services notifications.

 After you have register for an account, email customercare@gatewaydistrict.org if you wish to OPT-OUT of Lee County Notifications.

IF YOU’RE REGISTERED UNDER LEE COUNTY CODERED,  YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REGISTER. YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS FROM GATEWAY SERVICES.

Why, would I receive a pre-recorded enrollment call,  but need to enrolled ? 

Because the CodeRED system is used for emergency information, a one-time call is permitted.  The purpose of the system is to make residents aware that the emergency notification system exists and available to register. HOWEVER,  we are only permitted to communicate this information one-time . Your information is removed from the CodeRED system once the introductory call is made. All customers would be required to register in order to receive future notifications.

Can I call the CDD to enroll or update my CodeRED information ? 

No, all residents are required to enroll or update from the enrollment site. The CDD staff is not permitted to record your information. This is to protect your privacy.

Is my information subject to Public Record ? 

No, your information is NOT subject to public record. Because the information is held and maintained by CodeRED as a emergency management system, your information will not be released and held private. CodeRED will not release the information to anyone including the CDD.

If my information is private, why is Lee County able to contact me ? 

This is a community alert system based on location and property address. Since Lee County Emergency Management Services (LCEMS) also use CodeRED, we are within the County
Boundaries once enroll. You May elect to OPT-OUT of Lee County notices by emailing customercare@gatewaydistrict.org. LCEMS can contact your through CodeRED but is not given the information or data for which you have enrolled. 

What notifications will I receive ?

Emergency Notices will be sent by phone, text, &/or email 

General Notices will be delivered by text &/or email. 

What time of day will I receive notifications ? 

Notifications will be made during normal business hours from 9am to 5pm. Monday thru Friday.

However, this may vary if its an emergency or  a critical situation that would affect your water quality.
