Gateway Services reads your meters and sends out bills every two months. Residents of Gateway receive a combined bill for drinking water, sewer, and irrigation water. Current rates are listed below.

Bills are sent out by the 15th of the billing month, billing months are January, March, May, July, September and November.

New Rates Effective January 1, 2016

As a water conservation measure there is a tiered rate for irrigation usage. The average home owner in Gateway uses well under 25,000 gallons of irrigation water per month and should see no effect from this tiered system. The intent is not to raise revenue; its purpose is for water conservation.

The cost of water services provided by Gateway Services CDD remains among the lowest in the state of Florida. The majority of Gateway residents pay approximately 50% less than they would if they lived in another part of Lee County.
