Board of Supervisors & Governance
The Board of Supervisors is the governing authority for the Gateway Services Community Development District (GSCDD). Supervisors are elected during the General Election to four-year terms and must reside within District boundaries. All Board meetings are open to the public, and residents may provide public comment during designated times at regularly scheduled meetings.
Community Engagement
The Board is consistently seeking an active and engaged citizenry. Residents are encouraged to participate by attending meetings (in person and/or online) or serving on subcommittees. There are many ways to stay involved and contribute to informed decision-making and long-term planning as the District works to remain a premier community of choice.

Let Your Voice Be Heard
Residents are encouraged to stay involved in the District’s decision-making process, even if they are unable to attend meetings in person. Public comments on agenda items may be made in person during meetings, with a three-minute time limit, or submitted electronically before or after meetings. Comments received before the scheduled meeting time will be provided to and read into the record for the Board’s consideration.

QUALIFICATION PROCESS: For each General Election, all candidates shall qualify for individual seats in accordance with Section 99.061, Florida Statutes, and must also be a qualified elector of the District. A qualified elector is any person at least 18 years of age who is a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of the State of Florida and of the District, and who is registered to vote with the Lee County Supervisor of Elections. Campaigns shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 106, Florida Statutes.
COMPENSATION: Members of the Board receive $200.00 per meeting for their attendance and no Board member shall receive more than $4,800.00 per year.
TERM OF OFFICE: The term of office for the individuals to be elected to the Board in the General Election is four years. The newly elected Board members shall assume office on the second Tuesday following the election.
